Bex is our Communications Manager. She joined Coaction in 2021 and looks after our brand, communications and marketing campaigns.
Bex works Monday - Thursday between 9am - 3pm.

Emma Braun

Emma is the Head of Training. She has worked with the training team since 2015 and oversees all operations and business development.
Emma works Monday - Thursday.

Ingrid is the Training Manager. She has worked with the training team since 2013 and she looks after day-to-day organisation for the Designer course.
Ingrid works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Radhaa Bevan

Radhaa joined WARM in 2021 following the successful completion of her Business and Administration apprenticeship. With a background in education, finance, and customer service, she is the primary point of contact for our Coaction clients, offering invaluable guidance on their training pathways and facilitating their learning journey with us.
Driven by a personal connection to the climate emergency, stemming from her upbringing in a Small Island Developing State (SIDS), she is deeply committed to addressing environmental challenges. Her dedication extends to her ongoing pursuit of knowledge in the Built environment.
Radhaa organises the <a href="https://coaction.org.uk/courses/tradesperson">CERTIFIED TRADESPERSON COURSE</a> and leads on overall training administration and invoice management. She works from Monday to Friday.

Tabitha Binding

Tabitha has been interested in buildings from childhood. Growing up in an old stone cottage in mid-Wales she understands what ‘comfort’ - is not. With a background in forestry, timber, manufacturing, construction products, and building she undertook the Passivhaus Designer course in Hereford in 2015 so that she could understand building physics.
In 2016 she successfully completed a deep retrofit of her own home. In 2024 she passed the Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson course and took the Passivhaus in Practice practical session. She joins Coaction as Development Manager.

 Energy Consultant & Building Services Engineer CEng

Alan Clarke

Alan is an energy and building services engineer specialising in Passivhaus design, building on his extensive experience of low energy and ecological construction. His Passivhaus projects include individual and group housing, schools, community centres and offices.
In addition to design, Alan is involved in detailed monitoring of several of these completed, occupied projects through which he learns invaluable lessons about the real life performance of low energy buildings.

Associate Director & CEPH Designer at Architype

Ann-Marie Fallon

Ann-Marie is Associate Director at Architype and a certified Passivhaus designer since 2009. She was involved in quality and technical design reviews for the UK's largest Passivhaus secondary school, Harris Academy Sutton, the UK's first Passivhaus Plus school, Hackbridge Primary, the UK's first Passivhaus Plus office, Bicester Eco Business Centre and one of the largest Passivhaus residential developments, Agar Grove.
Ann-Marie also brings expertise in EnerPHit, the Passivhaus standard for retrofit having delivered the first EnerPHit project in Ireland in 2012.

Bill Butcher

Bill is a co-founder and director of Green Building Store (GBS), a certified Passivhaus consultant, and has led the construction arm of the business for many years. He has led on numerous Passivhaus projects, including the Denby Dale Passivhaus, alongside developing a Passivhaus approach to several radical retrofits. Having originally trained as a quantity surveyor, Bill has over 45 years of practical building experience. His pioneering work on the Longwood low-energy house in the early 1990s was the beginning of his low-energy and Passivhaus journey.
He co-founded Green Building Store in 1995 which has evolved into a leading national design and supplier of Passivhaus windows and doors, MVHR ventilation systems, and airtightness products.
Bill is a passionate advocate for better building in the UK, seeing the Passivhaus standard as exemplary for the UK industry in meeting its climate change responsibilities. He is committed to making the lessons he has learned from Passivhaus accessible and easily understandable for the wider construction industry.

Passive House Training & Consulting

Camille Sifferlen

A graduate in architecture, Camille Sifferlen worked for 6 years at the Passive House Institute. There, she conducted training and quality assurance activities internationally, with a particular interest in high performance pilot projects in hot climates and emerging economies. Upon her return to France in 2021, she opened her training and consulting company Passiv'Optim and joined the board of directors of La Maison du Passif. She is a certified Passive House Designer and PHPP Expert.

Building Services Engineer, Passivhaus Consultant, Sustainable Building Consultant

Caroline Martin

Caroline specialises in low energy building services design and energy modelling. She has been working on Passivhaus buildings with WARM since 2013, having previously worked as a building services engineer and sustainable building consultant for Arup in London, Sheffield, Berlin &amp; Cape Town.
Caroline has a particular interest in post occupancy monitoring and the interactions between buildings systems and their occupants.

Eric Fewster

Eric is a Passivhaus Consultant, Chartered Water and Environmental Manager and Chartered Environmentalist. For the past 27 years, his 'day job' mostly involved water supply &amp; sanitation in low-income countries during which time he helped to co-found BushProof, an award-winning business based in Madagascar.
After gaining experience through carrying out a deep retrofit on his own house, Eric retrained as a Passivhaus Consultant to help other homeowners do the same - he does this through his business ColdProof. Eric is passionate about the need for retrofit in the UK which has been his motivation for helping to develop the Passivhaus Tradesperson course.

Eric Parks

Eric Parks is an architect and Certified Passivhaus designer who has specialised in the field of ecological design and sustainable construction in both the US and UK. He has experience in research, development and prototyping of sustainable building systems with CMPBS in Austin, Texas.
In the UK, Eric's architectural training and experience has taken place with two of the UK's leading sustainable design specialists, Simmonds Mills: Architects, Builders and Eco Arc. Eric runs his own architecture practice and sustainable building consultancy.

Passivhaus Director & MEP Engineer

Gwilym Still

Gwilym is Passivhaus Lead at Max Fordham LLP and works as both a Passivhaus designer and MEP consultant. He has experience across a range of sectors and project sizes, from concept to completion and post-occupancy evaluation.
His Passivhaus projects include student accommodation buildings for King's College in Cambridge, and Agar Grove, a leading multi-residential scheme in London. He's enthusiastic about Passivhaus as a key element in designing and delivering the built environment for the climate emergency.

Kirsty Maguire

Kirsty is Director of Kirsty Maguire Architect Ltd, an award-winning Scotland-based practice working worldwide - building low energy eco buildings, providing specialist Passivhaus and low energy consultancy and delivering training.
Kirsty has been working in Passivhaus since around 2008 with this as the cornerstone of her practice for all building types and scales and for both new build and retrofit.

Liam McDonagh-Greaves

Liam is a Passivhaus Certifier and, since joining WARM in 2013, has worked on the certification of a large proportion of the UK’s Passivhaus buildings.
He particularly enjoys working on pre-20th century residential retrofit projects and low embodied energy new-builds. He is inspired by people being inspired by Passivhaus - architects and designers, students on our courses, clients and others; the sense of shared enthusiasm. His dream superpower would be the ability to turn base metal into houmous.

Mark Siddall

An award-winning Passivhaus architect with over 35 years experience in the construction industry, Mark Siddall is one of the pioneers that brought Passivhaus to the U.K. Through his architectural practice LEAP, Mark and his team help self-builders, homeowners and communities by designing new homes and retrofits which are sensitive to the local area and reflect a high standard of architecture.
With a keen interest in building performance issues of usability and practicality inform his approach and have increasingly led to an appreciation of the need for an integrated design process. Mark is a technical advisor to the Passivhaus Trust, has delivered lectures and training in the USA, New Zealand, Germany and the UK and contributed to peer reviewed research.

Mike Roe

Mike is a Chartered Building Services Engineer, Passivhaus Certifier and Director at WARM. Having previously worked as a building services engineer and resident engineer on large scale health and education buildings, he decided that Passivhaus was the way to achieve more sustainable buildings
After becoming a Passivhaus certifier he undertook a deep retrofit of his house and became an air leakage tester, to better understand the reality of the construction process. Mike is keen to contribute to making Passivhaus and sustainable buildings the norm.

Nick Grant

Nick is a freelance energy consultant at Elemental Solutions and Technical Director of the Passivhaus Trust. He is a sustainable building consultant with a lifelong passion for doing more with less.
Nick has worked on several Passivhaus schools including some of the first in the UK. With Alan Clarke he has pioneered a new approach to Passivhaus archive and museum storage buildings. He has provided Passivhaus consultancy for numerous housing projects from low budget self-build to city flats and co-housing developments. He is a keen theoretician but also a practical engineer and self-builder.

Piers Sadler

Piers is Director at specialist Passivhaus consultancy, Delta Q. Having started work on one-off new build and retrofit energy efficiency projects, his focus has moved to larger schemes, including Passivhaus consultant on several hundred social housing units across the south of England, encompassing low to high-rise, and several schools, including a CLT secondary school and retrofit of a SEND school to meet the EnerPHit standard.
Piers enjoys grappling with the technical challenges that arise as the Passivhaus Standard is applied to larger and more complex buildings, but his current focus is on developing the management systems to help contractors de-risk Passivhaus construction.

Rupert Daly

Rupert has been Project Architect throughout the detailed design and construction stages on several projects with Collective Architecture in Glasgow over the last 12 years. He has recently completed Woodside Multi-storey refurbishment targeting Passivhaus EnerPHit standard, is Project Lead/ Passivhaus Designer at Dundashill to deliver 90 Passivhaus new build dwellings and Passivhaus team lead on a number of other live projects at Collective Energy.
He has strong understanding of construction and a background in sustainable design and modern methods of construction.

Sally Godber

Sally is a chartered mechanical engineer, Passivhaus Certifier, member of the UK Technical Panel for the Passivhaus Institut, and oversees Coaction Training. After starting a career in building services, she went on to set up WARM with her dad Peter, with the intention of channelling his invaluable knowledge of low energy construction direct into the industry. She has extensive experience in the design and construction of larger low energy residential and commercial buildings, as well as building services.
Sally lives in her self-built certified Passivhaus home and she is in the process of a Stepwise EnerPHit of a café and holiday home; this practical experience has given her first hand insight into the reality of construction projects.

Sarah Lewis

Sarah is Research and Policy Director at the UK Passivhaus Trust. She is an architect and Passivhaus consultant who has been involved in the development of UK Passivhaus and EnerPHit schemes of various scales and typologies. As a keen advocate for Passivhaus and equipped with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field, Sarah is also a published author of the best-selling book 'PHPP illustrated', a guide to the Passivhaus Planning Package tool.
In recognition of her contribution to low energy architecture throughout her career, Sarah also holds achievements including the 2018 European Sustainability and Environmental Woman of the Year, 2015 Constructing Excellence Achiever of the Year, and in 2013 was listed by AJ as one of the top twenty women leading the way in sustainable architecture in the UK.

Dr Sarah Price

Sarah is Technical Director of Spruce Consulting. She has over a decade of experience in the construction industry and specialises in Passivhaus, sustainability, low energy buildings and retrofit.
She has worked on multiple Passivhaus projects, including the Passivhaus Leisure Centre in Exeter and over 90 certified Passivhaus dwellings across the country and is co-author of the Passivhaus Trust's Technical Guidance 'Demystifying Airtightness', Technical Author for the new retrofit Standard PAS 2035 as well as editor of the Retrofit Coordinator level 5 Diploma to which she contributed the Building Physics training material.
Sarah is a specialist in building physics, including moisture in buildings, which is applicable to many sectors including retrofit of traditional buildings.

Toby Cambray

Toby is a founding director at Greengauge where he leads the building physics services. He holds a BEng in Acoustical Engineering and an MSc in Theory and Practise of Sustainable Design. He is experienced with a variety of tools for assessing whole-building energy efficiency, component performance and moisture risk assessment.
He is a member of Technical Working Group 1 (Modelling and Monitoring) for the Centre for Moisture in Buildings and is a regular guest lecturer at UWE.

Tomas Gaertner

Tomas is a Passivhaus Designer and Certifier, accredited with the Passivhaus Institute in Germany and a Director of SE3D,
He worked as an Architect in Germany before joining a multidisciplinary UK practice of Architects and Mechanical Engineers in 2007.
Over the last 15 years Tomas has been involved with wide range of UK Passivhaus projects including large scale residential, offices, schools, higher education, care and leisure projects and is a regular speaker at conferences.

Will South

Will is a Passivhaus Certifier, Designer and Mechanical Engineer focusing on building fabric, moisture and heat transfer. He has built up a wealth of technical and practical experience in construction with a focus on energy efficiency, improving existing buildings, and sustainable design.
Will is interested in making buildings better through careful design and practical application. Will is a director and engineer at Etude, and a trustee for the Curiosity Society.
