Project Architect and Passivhaus Designer, Rupert jumped into the Passivhaus deep end with the retrofit of 314 occupied flats in three 22-story blocks in 2015 at Woodside, Glasgow. Subsequently, he transferred his knowledge of Passivhaus at scale into Scotland's largest Passivhaus new-build development of 90 dwellings at Dundashill with Collective Architecture. A positive disruptor, he enjoys utilising his site experience and construction knowledge to make the journey to Passivhaus as pragmatic as possible for all involved and thrives in the Passivhaus collaborative environment.

In 2021 he joined John Gilbert Architects as Associate Director and the Passivhaus journey continues...at pace, not only in domestic Architecture but also through collaboration in Sussed Sustainability on Passivhaus schools and leisure centres.
