Nick is a freelance energy consultant at Elemental Solutions and Technical Director of the Passivhaus Trust. He is a sustainable building consultant with a lifelong passion for doing more with less.

Nick has worked on several Passivhaus schools including some of the first in the UK. With Alan Clarke he has pioneered a new approach to Passivhaus archive and museum storage buildings. He has provided Passivhaus consultancy for numerous housing projects from low budget self-build to city flats and co-housing developments. He is a keen theoretician but also a practical engineer and self-builder.
